On November 12, 2013 Parks and Recreation released the episode "Fluoride".
Storyline:
Leslie tries to tackle some of her goals, such as hosting an event with the Indianapolis Colts, and adding fluoride to Pawnee's drinking water; Chris and Ron build cribs together.
Upon seeing this episode title I couldn't have been more excited to see the famous Leslie Knope "Flame Duck" flaming something so important and finally opening people's eyes to the real horror of water fluoridation. I would have NEVER thought that Leslie would turn on us (she's the good guy!!). I've never seen an episode of Parks and Recreation that has ever made me take Jamm's side of the debate (he's the bad guy!!). Leslie Knope says that fluoride is healthy for our teeth and points to "science" and "FACT" for allowing water fluoridation for all Eagleton and Pawnee citizens..but there actually is NO scientific or factual data proving that sodium fluoride prevents tooth decay. Who knew that I would find a great love for Councilman Jamm?
I was so shocked and stunned upon reading the episodes reviews and that NO ONE has commented on this. Now since I am of few people who know of this "fluoride issue" (I guess we can call it) I will enlighten you on the dangers and causes of Fluoride. Let's get started…
Fluoride was added to our water in the 1940's in attempt to lower cavities and increase dental health, so for years you have been drugged without any knowledge of it. If you live in an area that fluoridates water, and are drinking from the water supply, you're drinking toxic drug-like substance with every sip. Fluoride affects many ares of the body, especially areas of your brain that control and alter behavior, one in particular the pineal gland (shown below)

The Indian bindi represents the pineal gland which is said to lead to enlightenment -

FACT: There is not a single process in your body that benefits from fluoride, instead it does the opposite, it damages soft tissue..you know, important ones (brain, kidneys, gastrointestinal tract, and more!) and there are more then 100 published studies illustrating fluorides harm to our brains..thus directly linking it to reduced IQ's in children. Do I need to go further?...Yes I do. Fluoride is made from toxic industrial WASTE PRODUCT!! It is contaminated with lead, arsenic, radionucleotides, aluminum, and other industrial wastes.
